BITC have industry leading experience and expertise in the area of eCommerce in construction. Iain Curtis, Director of BITC, has been involved in the development and subsequent implementation of the eCommerce solutions for over 6 years in the construction industry.

Iain was instrumental in the development of the leading eCommerce solutions in the construction industry working closely with contractors and their supply chain in order to specify, develop, test and finally implement the solution in a live working environment. Iain has been responsible for the implementation of over 30 eTrading relationships which places him very much as an industry expert in all facets of eCommerce within the sector as few other people in construciton can have had experience such as this.

This expertise has been further developed during Iain's time working for Build IT where he has been responsible for the programme management of eCommerce solutions within 3 contractor organisations of varying sizes. He has been able to use his core construction experience to sucessfully roll the solutions out across the businesses thus ensuring they maximise their return on investment in the eCommerce solutions.

This industry leading expertise has lead to CITA (Construction Information Technpology Alliance) in Ireland to use Iain to deliver training courses in eTrading in order to give the Irish construction market the best possible grounding in the developing eCommerce relationships with the sector.
